The MQ131 gas sensor features a semiconductor metallic oxide sensitive material with high conductivity in clean air. When ozone gas is present, the sensor's conductivity decreases as the gas concentration rises. By converting this conductivity change, users can obtain an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration through a simple circuit.
The MQ131 ozone gas sensor is highly sensitive to ozone and also reacts to strong oxides such as Cl2, NO2, etc. It responds oppositely to organic interference gases.
