With the onboard DS3231 RTC chip and backup battery holder, the module can accurately count seconds, minutes, hours, date of the month, month, day of the week, and year with leap-year compensation valid up to 2100. Additionally, it offers the option of selecting between a 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator and includes 2 programmable alarm clocks.
