The Waveshare Mini Uninterruptible Power Supply module supports charging and power output simultaneously. It features a Mini UPS expansion board for easy soldering or integration into mobile robots and industrial control equipment. The module also supports I2C bus communication for monitoring the batteries voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity in real-time. With multiple function pins, it provides two charging and discharging methods via pads and pin headers.
The module comes with multiple battery protection circuits including overcharge/discharge protection, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, and reverse protection. It also includes an equalizing charge feature for added safety and stability. The onboard 5V regulator can deliver up to 2.5A continuous output current. Additionally, the module features warning indicators for easy checking of battery connection and charging status.
