Based on the integrated development concept, the Waveshare DDSM115 is a high-reliability Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that integrates an outer rotor brushless motor, encoder, and servo. It is designed with a compact structure for easy installation and stable operation. The motor offers high torque in a small size, making it suitable for advanced robot projects like robot joints, small AGV drive wheels, balance car drive wheels, and vehicle platform development.
The motor supports RS485 communication mode and provides motor feedback information such as position, speed, current, and error codes through communication. It also features Hall position detection, over-current protection, and electric brake support. With no drive mechanical friction, the drive efficiency is close to 100%.
