The Waveshare AW9523B IO Expansion Board is equipped with an I2C bus, allowing for easy expansion of I/O ports. It supports driving 16-ch common anode constant current LED with 256-step linear dimming and current control. The board also provides an interrupt signal (INT) when there is a change in the state of an input port. The I2C address can be configured by shorting the A0/A1 jumpers.
It offers two connector options: PH2.0 header and solder pads, enabling the stacking of multiple I2C modules. The onboard voltage translator makes it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V levels. Additionally, it comes with development resources and a manual with examples for Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, Arduino, and STM32.
