The Waveshare 7inch Capacitive Touch Display is a 7" panel with 800x480 resolution and 5-point capacitive touch support. It can be used with Raspberry Pi boards featuring a DSI connector, such as Raspberry Pi 4, 3B+, 3A+. The included 5MP OV5647 camera module connects via the CSI port and offers high-resolution image and video capture capabilities.
The display connects to the Raspberry Pi using the DSI ribbon cable and 5V/GND jumper wire method, leaving most GPIO pins free for other project needs. The toughened glass panel and adjustable backlight make it suitable for various project enclosures.
