This Waveshare 5-inch Resistive Touch Screen LCD offers a resolution of 800x480 and a resistive touch panel. It is compatible with Raspberry Pi and can also function as a computer monitor. The LCD supports various operating systems including Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali, Retropie, and WIN10 IoT.
When using the LCD with systems like Raspberry Pi, manual resolution setting is required to avoid abnormal display. However, this issue does not occur when using the LCD with the PC version of Windows.
The LCD features a multi-languages OSD menu for power management, brightness/contrast adjustment, and more. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack, speaker connector, HDMI audio output support, and VGA input compatibility.
