E-paper display utilizes microcapsule electrophoretic technology to display images/texts. Charged particles in clear fluid move to the sides of microcapsule under an electric field, making it visible by reflecting ambient light, similar to traditional paper. It offers clear visibility under lamplight or natural light with a wide viewing angle of up to 180 degrees, making it ideal for e-readers.
The display requires no backlight and consumes minimal power, mainly for refreshing. It features an SPI interface for easy connection with popular controller boards like Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, Arduino, STM32, etc. The onboard voltage translator ensures compatibility with various MCUs.
