The Dual Monster Moto Shield VNH3ASP30 DC Motor Driver is a full-bridge motor driver designed for high-current motors. It features a dual monolithic high side driver and two low side switches. The VIN and motor out are compatible with 5mm screw terminals for easy connection of larger gauge wires. Control the direction of each motor with INA and INB, while the PWM pins toggle the motors on or off.
For the VNH3ASP30, the current sense (CS) pins output approximately 0.13 volts per amp of output current. Note that in extreme high-demand applications, thermal performance may need improvement with a heat sink or fan, and direct soldering of wires to the board may be necessary.
The VNH3ASP30 is an updated version of the VNH2SP30, offering enhanced features and capabilities for automotive applications.
