The KY-022 module is ideally suited for infrared light detection, commonly used in project robots and remote control receivers. It operates at a low input voltage of 3.3V - 5V and outputs HIGH values when a signal is detected and LOW values when no signal is detected. The onboard data LED lights up when the sensor is triggered.
