The TNY275PN incorporates a 700 V power MOSFET, oscillator, high voltage switched current source, current limit (user selectable), and thermal shutdown circuitry. The IC family uses an ON/OFF control scheme and offers a design flexible solution with low system cost and extended power capability. Features include: simple ON/OFF control, selectable current limit through BP/M capacitor value, higher current limit extending peak power or maximum continuous power in open frame applications, lower current limit improving efficiency in enclosed adapters/chargers, tight I2f parameter tolerance reducing system cost, and more. The pin-out simplifies heat sinking to the PCB, and SOURCE pins are electrically quiet for low EMI.
