The LDT0-028K is a flexible component that combines a piezoelectric PVDF polymer film with screen-printed silver ink electrodes. This assembly, laminated to a polyester substrate and equipped with crimped contacts, generates high voltages when bent, making it suitable for various applications.
When deflected by direct contact, it functions as a flexible switch, capable of triggering MOSFET or CMOS stages directly. Alternatively, when left to vibrate in free space, it behaves as an accelerometer or vibration sensor, responding to bending stress created by the inertia of the clamped/free beam.
Modifying the sensor's mass or free length can adjust its resonant frequency and sensitivity, allowing customization for specific use cases. For multi-axis response, the mass can be positioned off-center.
- Package Includes: 1 x TE CONNECTIVITY LDT0-028K Piezoelectric Sensor, Vibration, Silver Ink Electrode
