TCS3200 Color Sensor For Arduino
A complete color detector, capable of detecting a range of visible colors with ease.
Based on TCS3200, this sensor uses a square wave output with a frequency directly proportional to the incident light intensity. Its applications range from test strip reading, color sorting, ambient light sensing and calibration, color matching and more. The sensor comes with an onboard TAOS TCS3200 RGB sensor chip and 4 white LEDs to make sensing easy and efficient. It rejects IR from light sources while effectively recording the light intensity of general red, green, and blue spectrums of visible light.
- Product Type: Color Sensor
- Base: TCS3200
- Output: Square wave frequency
- Sensor: TAOS TCS3200 RGB sensor chip
- Light Support: 4 white LEDs
The TCS3200 Color Sensor for Arduino supports LED lamp light supplement control. It boasts an array of photo detectors with different filters such as red, green, or blue or no filter (clear). These filters are distributed evenly to eliminate location bias among colors. Additionally, the internal oscillator of the device produces a square-wave output whose frequency is proportional to the chosen color's intensity.
