This heatbed is compatible with any 3D printer that can accept the RAMPS MK2B version. It has dual power capability for use with 12V or 24V power supplies. The central mounting hole on the front side allows for three-point mounting, simplifying bed leveling compared to 4 point mounting. It is recommended to use a glass plate for a truly flat surface and rigidity. The solder pads have been enlarged, making it easier to use 1206 surface mount components, but proper strain relief is still necessary.
Connection:
12V connection: One cable connected to 1, another cable connected to wire 2 and 3 simultaneously. Resistance value of the two lines is 1.0 ~ 1.2, actual power is 144W.
24V connection: One cable connected to 2, another cable connected to 3 (1 unconnected), resistance value of the two lines is 4.0, actual power is 144W. The power will remain stable at 144W for both 12V and 24V connections in the new version of the circuit.
Test Report:
12V connection: Current is 9.8A, dropping to 8.8A as temperature increases.
24V connection: Theoretical maximum current is less than 5A.
