The FS1012 MEMS mass flow sensor module offers key advantages over resistor-based flow solutions. It utilizes thermopile sensing, providing an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The sensor comprises solid thermal isolation technology and silicon carbide coating for protection against abrasive wear, ensuring robustness and long-term reliability.
In comparison to other sensors, the FS1012 features a fully assembled sensor wirebonded out to a 6-pin header. Wetted materials include glass fiber reinforced PA66 resin, epoxy, and silicon carbide. This sensor is ideal for applications in process controls, oil and gas leak detection, HVAC and air control systems, CPAP and respiratory devices, and liquid dispensing systems.
