DAC+ is designed to deliver high-quality audio output for Raspberry Pi models from Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ onwards. It features a Texas Instruments PCM5122 DAC for 24bit 192kHz high-resolution digital audio support. The DAC+ connects to the Raspberry Pi via the 40-pin GPIO header, eliminating the need for soldering or external power.
The audio output is delivered through a pair of phono connectors, and the DAC+ also includes a dedicated headphone amplifier for enhanced audio experience. The onboard EEPROM allows for auto-configuration, and the power LED indicates the status of the device.
Compatible with popular audio software such as Volumio, Rune, Max2Play, and MoodeAudio, the IQaudio DAC+ is a versatile audio solution for Raspberry Pi enthusiasts.
