This item is often used in 3D printers to connect Bowden tubing to the extruder and to the hot end. Designed for polyurethane or nylon tubing, it is made of nickel-plated brass for corrosion resistance. The oval release ring assists in connecting the hose easily by manual means, without requiring special tools. An outside hexagon wrench is available for use.
