The Teensy Prop Shield is designed for creating interactive light and sound effects on small props and costumes. It features 10DoF motion sensors, a 2W audio amp, high-speed LED drivers, and 8MB flash memory. The shield is slightly longer than Teensy 3.2 to accommodate mounting holes and power connections.
The Freescale 10DoF sensors include a 6-axis accelerometer and magnetometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, and a precision pressure/altitude gauge. The shield also includes a 2W amplifier for driving speakers, 5V buffers for LED control, and 8MB flash memory for various applications.
