The PIC16C63A devices are part of the PIC16CXX mid-range family, offering enhanced core features, multiple internal and external interrupt sources, and a large register set for high performance. The devices have 22 I/O pins and 192 bytes of RAM. Peripherals include three timer/counters, two Capture/Compare/PWM modules, and two serial ports. The Synchronous Serial Port (SSP) can function as SPI or I2C bus.
With a two-stage instruction pipeline and Harvard architecture, the PIC16C63A allows for efficient single-cycle execution of most instructions. It also features power-saving modes, selectable oscillator options, and programmable code protection.
