- Adjustable output frequency range
- LED indication for output status
- Selectable duty cycle
The NE555 Frequency Adjustable Pulse Generator Module is a compact (Size: 31mm * 22mm) and efficient module that uses the NE555 timer IC to produce pulses ranging from 4Hz to 1.3Khz. With an input voltage of 5V-15VDC, it can output a current of around 15MA with a 5V power supply and 35MA with a 12V power supply. The output amplitude varies between 4.2V V-PP to 11.4V V-PP, depending on the input voltage.
The module offers a selectable output frequency range, with options for LF file: 1Hz ~ 50Hz, IF file: 50Hz ~ 1kHz, High-frequency file: 1kHz ~ 10kHz, and HF file: 10kHz ~ 200kHz. Additionally, the output duty cycle is fine-tunable, although the duty cycle and frequency adjustments are not separate; modifying the duty cycle will impact the frequency.
Applications:
- Functioning as a square wave signal generator for experimental purposes
- Driving a stepper motor by generating a square wave drive signal
- Generating adjustable pulses for MCU and control circuitry
