MX BNC socket connector with teflon and gold plated pin is placed at the end of coaxial cables to link wiring to electronic equipment, commonly audio or visual devices. The center pin is connected to the center cable conductor, and a metal tube is connected to the outer cable shield. A rotating ring outside the tube locks the cable securely to any female connector.
MX BNC connectors are used for RF signal connections, analog and Serial Digital Interface video signals. They are an alternative to MX RCA connectors for composite video on commercial video devices.
Applications:
BNC Connectors are miniature, lightweight connectors with two bayonet lugs on the female connector. They are ideal for cable termination for miniature to subminiature coaxial cables like RG-58, RG-59, RG-179, RG-316. Common applications include RF signal connections, video signals, amateur radio antennas, aviation electronics, medical equipment, LAN devices, Ethernet network cards, broadcast equipment, and instrumentation and test equipment.
