This MS NEMA17 Shaft Coupling 5mm X 8mm is made of hardened Mild Steel, a heavier and denser material compared to Aluminum. It is slightly cheaper than Aluminum but stronger, making it more rigid. The black paint coating enhances corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
