These controllers adhere to all USB power bus specifications when charging from a USB port. They feature a preset voltage regulation with high accuracy (+/- 0.75%) and multiple voltage regulation options to meet various battery charging requirements.
The MCP73831 offer a range of selectable options for preconditioning threshold, charge termination value, and automatic recharge threshold. They are fully specified for a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) to ensure reliable operation in diverse environments.
