The LM7824 series of three terminal positive regulators are designed with internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe operating area protection, ensuring durability in various applications. With proper heat sinking, they can deliver over 1A output current. These regulators, primarily fixed voltage, can also be used with external components for adjustable voltages and currents.
