The LM393 series consists of dual independent precision voltage comparators suitable for single or split supply operation. With input offset voltage specifications as low as 2.0 mV, these devices are ideal for a wide range of applications in consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics.
The LM393 series offers a wide single-supply range of 2.0 Vdc to 36 Vdc and a split-supply range of ±1.0 Vdc to ±18 Vdc. Additionally, these comparators feature very low current drain independent of the supply voltage, low input bias current, and low input offset current and voltage.
These devices also provide an input common mode range to ground level, differential input voltage range equal to the power supply voltage, and output voltage compatibility with various logic levels such as DTL, ECL, TTL, MOS, and CMOS.
The LM393 series is designed with ESD clamps on the inputs to enhance device ruggedness without compromising performance. The NCV prefix indicates suitability for automotive and other applications with unique site and control change requirements, being AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP capable. Moreover, these devices are Pb-free, halogen-free/BFR-free, and RoHS compliant.
