The IR2104 is a high voltage, high-speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver with independent high and low side referenced output channels. It utilizes proprietary HVIC and latch immune CMOS technologies, ensuring ruggedized monolithic construction. The logic input is compatible with standard CMOS or LSTTL outputs as low as 3.3V.
The output drivers are equipped with a high pulse current buffer stage that minimizes driver cross-conduction. The floating channel is suitable for driving an N-channel power MOSFET or IGBT in the high-side configuration, operating within a wide range of 10 to 600 volts.
Additionally, the IR2104 features undervoltage lockout, cross-conduction prevention logic, internally set deadtime, and matched propagation delay for both channels. The shutdown input turns off both channels, providing a comprehensive control over the operation.
