The OV5647 5MP 1080P IR-Cut Camera is a custom-designed add-on for Raspberry Pi boards, compatible with all revisions. It utilizes the Raspberry Pi's onboard CSI interface for seamless integration. The camera supports night vision and is powered by a 5-megapixel OV5647 sensor, offering a maximum resolution of 1080p.
Equipped with an externally attachable IR LED, this camera allows for enhanced night vision functionality. The adjustable resistor on the camera enables control over the ambient light threshold for toggling the infrared LED. The camera connects to the Raspberry Pi via a short ribbon cable and features onboard screw holes for attachment and power supply.
With a native resolution of 5 megapixels and a fixed focus lens, this camera is capable of capturing high-quality still images at 2592 x 1944 pixels. It also supports various video resolutions including 1080p 30, 720p 60, and 640x480p 60/90. The camera is fully supported in the latest version of Raspbian, the preferred operating system for Raspberry Pi.
