The I2C Module features an inbuilt PCF8574 I2C chip that efficiently converts I2C serial data to parallel data for LCD displays. The default I2C address is either 0x27 or 0x3F, which can be determined by checking the black I2C adaptor board.
If the module has 3 sets of pads labelled A0, A1, & A2, the default address is 0x3F. If there are no pads, the default address is 0x27. Additionally, the module includes a contrast adjustment potentiometer on the underside of the display for fine-tuning the text display.
With its 2 IIC interfaces, this module offers flexibility in connection methods, allowing for easy integration with Dupont Line or IIC dedicated cables. It is fully compatible with 16x2 LCD displays, making it a versatile choice for various projects.
