The GT521F52 Fingerprint Scanner Module is an optical scanner module designed for easy integration into applications with a serial interface (UART). It has a fingerprint storage capacity of 3000 fingerprints and operates at a resolution of 450 dpi. The module features a high-accuracy and high-speed fingerprint identification technology, making it suitable for various applications such as access control and security.
The module is equipped with an ARM Cortex M3 Core MCU processor and can store fingerprint templates on-board. It supports simple UART & USB communication protocols, with an external UART-to-USB converter required for communication at 3.3V levels. The module complies with USB 2.0 full-speed specifications and allows for reading & writing fingerprint templates from/to the device.
