Force Sensitive Resistor 1.75x1.5"
A force-sensitive resistor that varies resistance based on pressure
- Actuation Force: 0.1 Newtons
- Force Sensitivity Range: 0.1 - 10.02 Newtons
- Non-Actuated Resistance: 10M ?
- Device Rise Time: <3 microseconds
- Temp Operating Range: 30 - +70 ºC
- 16MHz Clock Speed
- 32 KB Flash Memory
Top Features:
- Breadboard friendly with 0.1" pitch pins
- Peel-and-stick rubber backing for easy mounting
- Simple to set up for pressure sensing
- Wide force sensitivity range from 100g to 10kg
This Force Sensitive Resistor has a square sensing area of 1.75x1.5". It dynamically adjusts its resistance based on the pressure applied, with lower resistance corresponding to higher force. The resistance is over 1M when no pressure is detected. Ideal for force detection in the range of 100g-10kg.
The sensor features two pins with 0.1" pitch for easy breadboard connection. A peel-and-stick rubber backing on the opposite side allows for secure mounting. By connecting a resistor to create a voltage divider and measuring the voltage at the junction, you can determine the applied force. While great for pressure sensing applications, this FSR may not provide high accuracy for weight measurements.
Specifications:
