R307 is an advanced version of the R305 finger print sensoring module having the same software protocol but with significant improvements. This sensor module allows you to store fingerprint data and configure it for accurate identification. It is a 3.3V compatible sensor module that can directly interface with a 3v3 or 5v microcontroller. A level converter, like MAX232, is necessary for interfacing with a PC.

The sensor module features a matching mode of 1:1 and 1:N, with a baud rate (9600*N)bps, where N=1-12 (default N=6 57600bps). The character file size is 256 bytes with an image acquiring time of less than 0.5s. It has a storage capacity of 120 templates, a high security level of 5 (5 being the highest), and fast average searching time of less than 0.8s for 1:880. The module's false acceptance rate (FAR) is less than 0.001% and false rejection rate (FRR) is less than 0.1%.
