This WiFi relay module utilizes an ESP8266 WiFi module and microcontroller to send serial port instructions to a cellphone app for wireless relay control within a local area network (LAN). Ideal for IoT projects, the relay can activate up to 250V AC and 30V DC for device control or remote system triggering. The module features LED indicators for power activation and state, as well as a quick relay response time.
To use, configure the ESP8266 WiFi module using a computer with serial debugging software and a USB to TTL module for AT command setup. The module supports multiple operation modes and can connect with up to 5 clients simultaneously in AP mode. Control commands can be sent via WiFi to configure the relay for operation.
