The DS3695 is a high speed differential TRI-STATE® bus/line transceiver/repeater that ensures reliable data transmission over a wide common mode range. The device features TRI-STATE capability for both driver and receiver outputs, maintaining high impedance over the entire common mode range. In case of bus faults leading to excessive power dissipation, a built-in thermal shutdown circuit protects the device by forcing the driver outputs into high impedance state.
Additionally, the DS3695 offers an output pin TS (thermal shutdown) which indicates thermal shutdown occurrence, enhancing system diagnostics. With compatibility with RS-422 and ability to support up to 32 transceivers on the bus, this transceiver/repeater is ideal for applications requiring robust data transmission.
