The DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Module is a digital temperature sensor that can be easily connected to Arduino with just one 4.7-pound resistor. The connection is established via the 1-wire protocol, allowing multiple sensors to be connected through one common wire to Arduino. The output is digitally accurate to 12 bits, enabling temperature measurement with a precision of 0.0625 C.
Applications for the DS18B20 Temperature Sensor include cold storage, granaries, storage tanks, telecommunications rooms, electric power rooms, cable troughs, and other temperature measurement and control areas. It is also suitable for industrial equipment temperature and control in small spaces such as bearings, cylinders, textile machinery, and air conditioning units. Additionally, it can be used in refrigerators, freezers, low-temperature drying ovens, heating/cooling pipe calorie measurement, central air conditioning household thermal energy measurement, and industrial temperature measurement and control.
