The DOIT Mini Ultra-Small size ESP-M3 Serial WiFi Module utilizes the high-performance ESP8285 chip, encapsulating an enhanced Tensilicas L106 Diamond series 32-bit kernel CPU with SRAM. This module offers complete Wi-Fi functionality and can be used independently or as a slave with other host CPUs. The built-in high-speed buffer enhances system performance and optimizes storage. Additionally, the ESP8285 can function as a Wi-Fi adapter through various interfaces when integrated into other MCU designs.
Derived from ESP8266, the ESP8285 boasts a flash memory of 1MB and is totally compatible with ESP8266. It supports 802.11 b/g/n/e/i standards and is highly temperature resistant, operating between -40 to 125 degrees Celsius.
The SOC characteristics include a built-in Tensilica L106 ultra-low power consumption 32-bit CPU, TCP/IP protocol stack, high precision ADC, and various interfaces such as HSPI, UART, I2C, and more. The module features low power consumption in deep-sleep mode and supports quick wake-up and data transmission. The Wi-Fi capabilities encompass support for multiple modes, hardware acceleration for security protocols, seamless roam, and SmartConfig function for easy setup.
Applications of this module range from serial transparent transmission to industrial wireless control, including smart power plugs, sensor networks, wearable electronics, and more.
