Maker Line is equipped with 5 x IR sensors array, allowing it to track lines from 13mm to 30mm in width. The sensor offers selectable light or dark line color options. Calibration is made easy with a simple button press and sweep across the line. The calibration data is stored in EEPROM for convenience.
The sensor supports dual outputs: 5 x digital outputs for individual sensor states and 1 x analog output for line position. The analog output provides higher resolution, ideal for applications requiring high accuracy like PID-controlled line following robots.
Applications include Line Following Mobile Robots and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
