A CD54 15uH Surface Mount Power Inductor (15 microH) is a 2-terminal passive device with a coil of wire wound around a core. The core can be a magnetic metal or air, producing high inductance. When a current is applied, a magnetic field is generated around the inductor. The magnetic field with a magnetic core is significantly stronger than others.
Commonly used in mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, digital cameras, portable DVD players, etc., as DC-DC Converter inductors.
