CD4538 Dual Precision Monostable Multivibrator

The CD4538 is a retriggerable and resettable device with internally latched control inputs. It offers precise control of output pulse-width using linear CMOS techniques. The pulse duration and accuracy depend on external components RX and CX. There's no need for an external protection resistor in series with the timing pin as the device prevents the timing capacitor from discharging through the timing pin during power-down conditions.
Two trigger inputs can be utilized for both rising and falling edge triggering. The reset inputs, which are active LOW, inhibit triggering while active. Input protection from static discharge is incorporated on all pins for enhanced durability.
