The CD4027 is a single monolithic chip integrated circuit with two identical complementary-symmetry J-K master-slave flip-flops. It is designed for control, register, and toggle functions. The chip features individual J, K, Set, Reset, and Clock input signals for each flip-flop, with buffered Q and Q\ outputs.
Changes in the flip-flop state are synchronous with the positive-going transition of the clock pulse. Set and reset functions operate independently of the clock, triggered by a high-level signal at the Set or Reset input.
The CD4027 is supplied in various package types including 16-lead hermetic dual-in-line ceramic packages (F3A suffix) and plastic packages (E suffix). It meets JEDEC Tentative Standard No. 13B requirements.
