BR1010 Single Phase Bridge Rectifier has four terminals, with the main terminals labeled Anode and Cathode across all four layers. The control terminal, called the Gate, is attached to P Type material near the Cathode, acting exclusively as a bistable switch. It is used in power circuits to detect the amplitude of modulated radio signals, supply polarized voltage for welding, and more. This bridge rectifier is smoother than the half-wave rectifier and does not require a center tap transformer for single-phase applications.
