The TMC5160 PRO is a high-performance stepper motor control chip that operates via an externally enhanced power MOSFET. It has a maximum current of 20 A and low heat development during operation. The TMC5160 PRO contains all the intelligence required to drive a motor. When receiving target positions, the TMC5160 PRO manages the motor movement. With TRINAMIC's unique StallGuard2, coolStep, dcStep, SpreadCycle, and StealthChop functions, the TMC5160 optimizes drive performance by comparing motor speed and torque, optimizing energy efficiency, smoothness, and quietness. Support of TRINAMIC's unique StealthChop2 mode eliminates motor noise by reducing resonance.
