The AM26LV31 is a BiCMOS quadruple differential line driver that mimics the characteristics of TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU Recommendation V.11 drivers while operating at a reduced supply-voltage range. These devices are optimized for balanced-bus transmission at switching rates of up to 32 MHz, with very high current capability for driving balanced lines like twisted-pair transmission lines.
The driver outputs maintain a high impedance in the power-off condition, and the enable function, common to all four drivers, supports active-high or active-low enable inputs. Utilizing Texas Instruments LinIMPACT-C60™ technology, the AM26LV31 ensures ultra-low power consumption without compromising on speed.
For optimal performance, pair the AM26LV31 with the AM26LV32 quadruple line receivers. The package options include Plastic Small-Outline (D,NS) packages.
