This flexible type motor coupling efficiently connects your driving shaft with the driven shaft, eliminating misalignment to a great extent. The Aluminum Flexible Shaft Coupling 5mm x 5mm has a minimum backlash and an outer diameter of 19mm. It is a machined aluminum coupling with first and second bore diameters of 5mm each. The spiral cut in the middle allows flexibility to fit two non-co-linear shafts, reducing binding effects.

Known as Beam coupling, helical coupling, or Flexible coupling, it behaves like a spring in the X, Y, and Z linear axes but not in the rotational axis, reducing backlash and making it suitable for precision CNC work.
