The NodeMCU BU01 is a versatile development board that combines the BU01 with the STM32F103 microcontroller. It offers UWB Communication over SPI and enables precise location positioning up to 10cm accuracy. This board serves as an excellent alternative to BLE/WiFi localization using RSSI, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
With UWB technology, you can achieve accurate positioning indoors, surpassing the limitations of GPS. The DW1000 IC from Decawave powers the BU01, ensuring high performance and reliability. Additionally, the board supports GPS for outdoor positioning and offers a range of features for seamless integration into your projects.
UWB technology utilizes nanosecond-level non-sinusoidal narrow pulses for data transmission, providing high-speed communication and precise ranging capabilities. The NodeMCU BU01 supports two-way ranging, TDOA, and features a programmable transmit power for enhanced flexibility.
The factory firmware of the NodeMCU BU01 supports AT commands for retrieving data from the temperature & humidity sensor, as well as the accelerometer. With 50 I/O pins exposed for various functions, this development board offers extensive connectivity options for your IoT projects.
