The ACE 1 Litre No Clean Flux 0% Soldering Liquid Flux is specially formulated for use in the electronic industry to enhance the efficiency of dip and wave soldering processes for conventional PCB assemblies.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to pre-heat the flux after application to activate it. The recommended temperature range for activation is between 90°C to 150°C (194°F to 302°F), depending on various factors such as circuit board design, thickness, contact time with solder, solder flow speed, and preheating duration.
When using Sn63Pb37/Sn60Pb40 or SnCu/SnAgCu alloys, ensure that the solder pot temperature is set between 245-260°C (473-500°F) and 260-270°C (500-518°F) respectively. Please note that these are general guidelines, and the ideal settings may vary based on the specific assembly requirements.
The flux residues are non-corrosive and non-conductive, eliminating the need for removal in most applications. However, if residue removal is necessary, our PCB Cleaner can be used for this purpose.
Storage and Shelf Life: It is crucial to store the flux in a cool and dry place, away from any potential sources of ignition due to its flammable nature. When stored properly at room temperature, the shelf life of the flux is indefinite.
Application of the flux can be done manually using a brush or through spraying, providing flexibility in the soldering process.
