This A2212 brushless outrunner motor is specifically crafted to power quadcopters and multirotors. With a KV of 1000, it offers super power and brilliant efficiency, making it ideal for medium-sized quadcopters with 8 to 10-inch propellers. When paired with our 3S LiPo battery, 30A ESC, and high-efficiency 10" propellers, these motors can provide up to 800gms of thrust. Using four of these motors on a quadcopter with our propellers will give you a total thrust of 3.2 kg, ensuring powerful and efficient performance.
Additionally, the motor dimensions are 27.5 x 30mm, with a shaft diameter of 3.175mm. The minimum ESC specification required is 18A, although 30A is suggested for optimal performance. The motor is designed to operate with 2-3 Li-Poly cells and has a current capacity of 12A/60s. The no-load current at 10V is 0.5A, ensuring efficient power usage.
Thrust performance varies with different propeller sizes. With a 1045 propeller, the motor can deliver approximately 800gms of thrust, while with a 0945 or 0845 propeller, the thrust is around 475gms each.
