This device contains six independent gates, each functioning as a non-inverting buffer. The outputs support the 3-STATE feature, providing low impedance characteristics when enabled. This allows driving bus lines without the need for external resistors. When disabled, the output transistors are turned off, presenting a high-impedance state to the bus line. This prevents the output from acting as a significant load or driver. The disable time is shorter than the enable time to minimize conflicts on bus lines.
