The 74LS365 IC contains six independent gates, each functioning as a non-inverting buffer with the 3-STATE feature. The outputs have additional drive capability for bus line driving without external resistors. When disabled, the outputs present a high-impedance state to the bus line, acting neither as a load nor a driver. The disable time is shorter than the enable time to prevent conflicting logic levels on a common bus.
