These flip-flops transfer information from D inputs to Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. Clock triggering is voltage-based and not time-based. D input has no effect on output when clock is high or low. Responds to clock frequencies from 0 to 30MHz, with a maximum of 40MHz. Power dissipation is 39mW per flip-flop for the 273 and 10mW for the LS273.
