The 74LS15 is a three-input positive-AND gate IC with three separate inputs built in low-power Schottky technology. Each gate performs the logic AND function using positive logic for Boolean functions Y = A • B • C. This IC is designed to operate in the complete military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is available in a 14-pin PDIP wide-body surface-mount package.
The 74LS15 IC is designed to have operating rates practically identical to LS-TTL gates while consuming less power than conventional CMOS integrated circuits. It features a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and has strong noise immunity, allowing it to drive TTL loads. Internal diode clamps protect all inputs from static discharge damage.
The AND gate is a basic digital logic gate that implements logical conjunction, operating on logical multiplication rules. When all inputs are HIGH, the output will be high; otherwise, the output will be low.
